We're excited to have you on our leadership team as a Tech Lead!

Here's an initial outline of the TL onboarding process including some action items to complete right now!

May/June

  1. Join the JumboCode 2024-25 Slack

    2. An invite link has been sent to your @tufts.edu email address.

    Once you're in, make sure you have access to the #leadership and #tech-leads channels. If you don't, please message Gabe or Ben.

    We'll be using Slack as our primary means of communication, so please keep some notifications on. The board will send important logistical information over the summer, especially in August.

  2. Optional: Introduce Yourself!

    3. In #tech-leads, say hi to the other incoming TLs! Update: We'll do this during onboarding.

June/July

  1. Tech Lead Onboarding Kickoff Meeting (Zoom)

    2. We'll have a meeting in late June or early July to chat about the TL onboarding project. Update: TL Onboarding Kickoff will be 6/27 at 9pm! Zoom link to be posted in #tech-leads.

  2. Tech Lead Onboarding Project

    3. The project will be released during the kickoff meeting. It shouldn't take too much of your time and we'll give you a large completion window. (Don't stress about it!)

  3. Match PMs/TLs

    4. We'll aim to do a PMs/TLs Zoom Call before we pair up PMs and TLs. You'll have a chance to tell us who you'd like to work with.

August

  1. Match Projects with PMs/TLs

    2. TBD (sometime in August)
